We love Myrtle Beach for family vacations because the location has so much to offer – pleasant-tasting food & fun, family entertainment. If you didn't know this already, Myrtle Beach has a local Minor League Baseball Team up called the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. They are a single A division and at one compass point affiliated with the Capital of Georgia Braves but now with the Boodle Cubs. Flourishing up my husband did not bear cable so the only cardinal baseball teams they could view on their T.V. screen was the Chicago Cubs and Atlanta Braves. Soh obviously my husband is a huge Chicago Cubs fan!
The first place he wanted to head when we arrived was to their ProShop to purchase a souvenir. Which by the way if you can't make IT to a lame but would like to stop by their shop, they are exposed Monday done Friday from 10:00AM – 5:00PM addition all local games. You can't go to a Pelicans Game without wearing something to support the squad. My husband was suchlike a kid in a candy store. My family and I were provided a tour of the baseball facility. It was a gorgeous set and surprisingly seating room over 6000+ fans. They have realized a lot of rising renovations and give done a gravid chore incorporating their new affiliate Chicago Cubs into the facility all around.
We also took a turn dormie to the technical and video board. We met the game broadcast support team, the bailiwick video team and the play by gambling announcers. The food and beer was delicious so make sure to grab a bite before or during the game.
